2to say to the Israelites: Anyone, whether Israelite or alien settled in Israel, who gives any of his children to Molech must be put to death: the people are to stone him.
3I for my part shall set my face against that man and cut him off from his people, for by giving a child of his to Molech he has made my sanctuary unclean and profaned my holy name.
4If the people connive at it when a man has given a child of his to Molech and do not put him to death,
5I shall set my face against that man and his family, and cut off from their people both him and all who follow him in his wanton worship of Molech.
6I shall set my face against anyone who wantonly resorts to ghosts and spirits, and I shall cut that person off from his people.
7Hallow yourselves and be holy, because I am the LORD your God.
8Observe my statutes and obey them: I am the LORD who hallows you.
9When anyone reviles his father and his mother, he must be put to death. Since he has reviled his father and his mother, let his blood be on his own head.
10If a man commits adultery with another's wife, that is with the wife of a fellow-countryman, both adulterer and adulteress must be put to death.
11The man who has intercourse with his father's wife has brought shame on his father. Both must be put to death; their blood be on their own heads!
12If a man has intercourse with his daughter-in-law, both must be put to death. Their deed is a violation of nature; their blood be on their own heads!
13If a man has intercourse with a man as with a woman, both commit an abomination. They must be put to death; their blood be on their own heads!
14If a man takes both a woman and her mother, that is lewdness. Both he and they must be burnt, so that there may be no lewdness in your midst.
15A man who has sexual intercourse with an animal must be put to death, and you are to kill the beast.
16If a woman approaches an animal to mate with it, you must kill both woman and beast. They must be put to death; their blood be on their own heads!
17If a man takes his sister, whether his father's daughter or his mother's daughter, and they see one another naked, it is an infamous disgrace. They are to be cut off in the presence of their people. The man has had intercourse with his sister and he must be held responsible.
18If a man lies with a woman during her monthly period, uncovering her body, he has exposed her discharge and she has uncovered the source of her discharge; they are both to be cut off from their people.
19You must not have intercourse with your mother's sister or your father's sister: it is the exposure of a blood relation. Both must accept responsibility.
20A man who has intercourse with his uncle's wife has brought shame on his uncle. They must accept responsibility for their sin and be proscribed and put to death.
21If a man takes his brother's wife, it is impurity. He has brought shame on his brother; they are to be proscribed.
22You are to observe my statutes and my laws and carry them out, so that the land into which I am bringing you to live may not spew you out.
23You must not conform to the institutions of the nations whom I am driving out before you: they did all these things and I abhorred them,
24and I told you that you should occupy their land, and I would give you possession of it, a land flowing with milk and honey. I am the LORD your God: I have made a clear separation between you and the nations,
25and you are to make a clear separation between clean beasts and unclean beasts and between unclean and clean birds. You must not contaminate yourselves through beast or bird or anything that creeps on the ground, for I have made a clear separation between them and you, declaring them unclean.
26You must be holy to me, because I the LORD am holy. I have made a clear separation between you and the heathen, that you may belong to me.
27Any man or woman among you who calls up ghosts or spirits must be put to death. The people are to stone them; their blood be on their own heads!
