3On the day I take action, you will tread down the wicked, for they will be as ashes under the soles of your feet, says the LORD of Hosts.
4Remember the law of Moses my servant, the rules and precepts which I told him to deliver to all Israel at Horeb.
5Look, I shall send you the prophet Elijah before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes.
6He will reconcile parents to their children and children to their parents, lest I come and put the land under a ban to destroy it.
