6Save with your right hand and respond, that those dear to you may be delivered.
7God has spoken from his sanctuary: “I will go up now and divide Shechem; I will measure off the valley of Succoth;
8Gilead and Manasseh are mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my sceptre;
9Moab is my washbowl, on Edom I fling my sandals; I shout my war cry against Philistia.”
10Who will bring me to the impregnable city? Who will guide me to Edom?
11Have you rejected us, God, and do you no longer lead our armies to battle?
12Grant us help against the foe; for in vain we look to any mortal for deliverance.
13With God's help we shall fight valiantly, and God himself will tread our foes under foot.
