TB: Lalu berkatalah Saul kepada pembawa senjatanya: "Hunuslah pedangmu dan tikamlah aku, supaya jangan datang orang-orang yang tidak bersunat ini memperlakukan aku sebagai permainan." Tetapi pembawa senjatanya tidak mau, karena ia sangat segan. Kemudian Saul mengambil pedang itu dan menjatuhkan dirinya ke atasnya.


AYT: Saul berkata kepada pembawa senjatanya, "Hunus pedangmu dan tikam aku. Jangan sampai orang-orang yang tidak bersunat itu datang dan menyiksa aku." Namun, pembawa senjatanya tidak mau karena dia sangat segan. Jadi, Saul mengambil pedangnya dan menjatuhkan diri di atasnya.

Kemudian Saul mengambil pedangnya lalu membunuh dirinya. Dia jatuh ke atas pedang itu.

Tetapi pembawa senjatanya itu tidak berani melakukannya, maka Saul mengambil pedang itu, lalu menjatuhkan diri ke atasnya sehingga ia tertikam dan mati.

ENDE: Maka kata Sjaul kepada biduandanja: "Hunuslah pedangmu dan tikamlah aku; djangan sampai nanti orang berkulup itu mempermainkan daku". Tetapi biduandanja tidak mau, sebab ia sangat gerun. Maka Sjaul sendiri mengambil pedang itu dan mendjatuhi pedang itu.
