TMV: Para pegawai Raja Benhadad menghadapnya dan berkata, "Hamba sekalian mendengar bahawa raja-raja Israel berbelas kasihan. Benarkanlah hamba semua menghadap raja Israel dengan memakai kain guni pada pinggang kami sebagai tanda penyesalan, dan tali pada leher kami sebagai tanda takluk. Semoga raja itu menyelamatkan nyawa tuanku."


AYT: Pelayan-pelayannya berkata kepadanya, “Lihatlah sekarang, kami telah mendengar bahwa raja-raja kaum Israel adalah raja yang pemurah. Sekarang, marilah kita menaruh kain kabung pada pinggang kita dan tali-tali pada kepala kita, lalu keluar menghadap raja Israel. Mungkin, dia mau membiarkanmu hidup.”

TB: Lalu berkatalah pegawai-pegawainya kepadanya: "Ketahuilah, kami telah mendengar, bahwa raja-raja kaum Israel itu adalah raja-raja pemurah.
