TB: Setiap kali apabila Yehudi selesai membacakan tiga empat lajur, maka raja mengoyak-ngoyaknya dengan pisau raut, lalu dilemparkan ke dalam api yang di perapian itu, sampai seluruh gulungan itu habis dimakan api yang di perapian itu.


AYT: Ketika Yehudi telah membaca tiga atau empat kolom, raja memotongnya dengan pisau raut dan melemparkannya ke dalam api yang ada di perapian, hingga semua gulungan habis terbakar dalam api yang ada di perapian.

TL: Maka sesungguhnya setelah sudah dibacakan Yehudi tiga empat pasal, dikerat-kerat oleh baginda akan dia dengan pisau perancung, kerat-keratnya dicampakkannya ke dalam api yang pada perdiangan itu, sehingga habislah sudah segenap gulungan surat itu dimakan oleh api yang pada perdiangan itu.
