2Thus saith <0559> (8804) the LORD <03068> that made <06213> (8802) thee, and formed <03335> (8802) thee from the womb <0990>_, [which] will help <05826> (8799) thee; Fear <03372> (8799) not, O Jacob <03290>_, my servant <05650>_; and thou, Jesurun <03484>_, whom I have chosen <0977> (8804)_.
3For I will pour <03332> (8799) water <04325> upon him that is thirsty <06771>_, and floods <05140> (8802) upon the dry ground <03004>_: I will pour <03332> (8799) my spirit <07307> upon thy seed <02233>_, and my blessing <01293> upon thine offspring <06631>_:
4And they shall spring up <06779> (8804) [as] among <0996> the grass <02682>_, as willows <06155> by the water <04325> courses <02988>_.
5One shall say <0559> (8799)_, I [am] the LORD'S <03068>_; and another shall call <07121> (8799) [himself] by the name <08034> of Jacob <03290>_; and another shall subscribe <03789> (8799) [with] his hand <03027> unto the LORD <03068>_, and surname <03655> (8762) [himself] by the name <08034> of Israel <03478>_.
6Thus saith <0559> (8804) the LORD <03068> the King <04428> of Israel <03478>_, and his redeemer <01350> (8802) the LORD <03068> of hosts <06635>_; I [am] the first <07223>_, and I [am] the last <0314>_; and beside <01107> me [there is] no God <0430>_.
7And who, as I, shall call <07121> (8799)_, and shall declare <05046> (8686) it, and set it in order <06186> (8799) for me, since I appointed <07760> (8800) the ancient <05769> people <05971>_? and the things that are coming <0857> (8802)_, and shall come <0935> (8799)_, let them shew <05046> (8686) unto them.
8Fear <06342> (8799) ye not, neither be afraid <07297> (8799) (8676) <07297> (8804)_: have not I told <08085> (8689) thee from that time <0227>_, and have declared <05046> (8689) [it]? ye [are] even my witnesses <05707>_. 22I have blotted out <04229> (8804)_, as a thick cloud <05645>_, thy transgressions <06588>_, and, as a cloud <06051>_, thy sins <02403>_: return <07725> (8798) unto me; for I have redeemed <01350> (8804) thee.
