2that the sons<1121> of God<430> saw<7200> that the daughters<1323> of men<120> were beautiful<2896>; and they took<3947> wives<802> for themselves, whomever<3605><834> they chose<977>.
3Then the LORD<3068> said<559>, "My Spirit<7307> shall not strive<1777> with man<120> forever<5769>, because<7683> he also<7683> is flesh<1320>; nevertheless his days<3117> shall be one hundred<3967> and twenty<6242> years<8141>."
4The Nephilim<5303> were on the earth<776> in those<1992> days<3117>, and also<1571> afterward<310><3651>, when<834> the sons<1121> of God<430> came<935> in to the daughters<1323> of men<120>, and they bore<3205> children to them. Those<1992> were the mighty<1368> men<1368> who<834> were of old<5769>, men<376> of renown<8034>.
5Then the LORD<3068> saw<7200> that the wickedness<7463> of man<120> was great<7227> on the earth<776>, and that every<3605> intent<3336> of the thoughts<4284> of his heart<3820> was only<7534> evil<7451> continually<3605><3117>.
6The LORD<3068> was sorry<5162> that He had made<6213> man<120> on the earth<776>, and He was grieved<6087> in His heart<3820>.
7The LORD<3068> said<559>, "I will blot<4229> out man<120> whom<834> I have created<1254> from the face<6440> of the land<127>, from man<120> to animals<929> to creeping<7431> things<7431> and to birds<5775> of the sky<8064>; for I am<5162> sorry<5162> that I have made<6213> them."
8But Noah<5146> found<4672> favor<2580> in the eyes<5869> of the LORD<3068>.
9These<428> are the records of the generations<8435> of Noah<5146>. Noah<5146> was a righteous<6662> man<376>, blameless<8549> in his time<1755>; Noah<5146> walked<1980> with God<430>.
10Noah<5146> became<3205> the father<3205> of three<7969> sons<1121>: Shem<8035>, Ham<2526>, and Japheth<3315>.
11Now the earth<776> was corrupt<7843> in the sight<6440> of God<430>, and the earth<776> was filled<4390> with violence<2555>.
12God<430> looked<7200> on the earth<776>, and behold<2009>, it was corrupt<7843>; for all<3605> flesh<1320> had corrupted<7843> their way<1870> upon the earth<776>.
13Then God<430> said<559> to Noah<5146>, "The end<7093> of all<3605> flesh<1320> has come<935> before<6440> Me; for the earth<776> is filled<4390> with violence<2555> because<4480><6440> of them; and behold<2009>, I am about to destroy<7843> them with the earth<776>.
14"Make<6213> for yourself an ark<8392> of gopher<1613> wood<6086>; you shall make<6213> the ark<8392> with rooms<7064>, and shall cover<3722> it inside<4480><1004> and out with pitch<3724>.
15"This<2088> is how<834> you shall make<6213> it: the length<753> of the ark<8392> three<7969> hundred<3967> cubits<520>, its breadth<7341> fifty<2572> cubits<520>, and its height<6967> thirty<7970> cubits<520>.
16"You shall make<6213> a window<6672> for the ark<8392>, and finish<3615> it to a cubit<520> from the top<4605>; and set<7760> the door<6607> of the ark<8392> in the side<6654> of it; you shall make<6213> it with lower<8482>, second<8145>, and third<7992> decks.
17"Behold<2009>, I, even I am bringing<935> the flood<3999> of water<4325> upon the earth<776>, to destroy<7843> all<3605> flesh<1320> in which<834> is the breath<7307> of life<2425>, from under<8478> heaven<8064>; everything<3605> that is on the earth<776> shall perish<1478>.
18"But I will establish<6965> My covenant<1285> with you; and you shall enter<935> the ark<8392>--you and your sons<1121> and your wife<802>, and your sons'<1121> wives<802> with you.
19"And of every<3605> living<2416> thing<2416> of all<3605> flesh<1320>, you shall bring<935> two<8147> of every<3605> kind into the ark<8392>, to keep<2421> them alive<2421> with you; they shall be male<2145> and female<5347>.
20"Of the birds<5775> after their kind<4327>, and of the animals<929> after their kind<4327>, of every<3605> creeping<7431> thing<7431> of the ground<127> after its kind<4327>, two<8147> of every<3605> kind will come<935> to you to keep<2421> them alive<2421>.
21"As for you, take<3947> for yourself some<4480> of all<3605> food<3978> which<834> is edible<398>, and gather<622> it to yourself; and it shall be for food<402> for you and for them."
22Thus Noah<5146> did<6213>; according to all<3605> that God<430> had commanded<6680> him, so<3651> he did<6213>.
