In the year<8141> of King<4428> Uzziah's<5818> death<4194> I saw<7200> the Lord<136> sitting<3427> on a throne<3678>, lofty<7311> and exalted<5375>, with the train<7757> of His robe<7757> filling<4390> the temple<1964>.
Seraphim<8314> stood<5975> above<4605> Him, each<259> having six<8337> wings<3671>: with two<8147> he covered<3680> his face<6440>, and with two<8147> he covered<3680> his feet<7272>, and with two<8147> he flew<5774>.
And one<2088> called<7121> out to another<2088> and said<559>, "Holy<6918>, Holy<6918>, Holy<6918>, is the LORD<3068> of hosts<6635>, The whole<3605> earth<776> is full<4393> of His glory<3519>."
And the foundations<522> of the thresholds<5592> trembled<5128> at the voice<6963> of him who called<7121> out, while the temple<1004> was filling<4390> with smoke<6227>.
Then I said<559>, "Woe<188> is me, for I am ruined<1820>! Because<3588> I am a man<376> of unclean<2931> lips<8193>, And I live<3427> among<8432> a people<5971> of unclean<2931> lips<8193>; For my eyes<5869> have seen<7200> the King<4428>, the LORD<3068> of hosts<6635>."
Then one<259> of the seraphim<8314> flew<5774> to me with a burning<7531> coal<7531> in his hand<3027>, which he had taken<3947> from the altar<4196> with tongs<4457>.
He touched<5060> my mouth<6310> with it and said<559>, "Behold<2009>, this<2088> has touched<5060> your lips<8193>; and your iniquity<5771> is taken<5493> away<5493> and your sin<2403> is forgiven<3722>."
Then I heard<8085> the voice<6963> of the Lord<136>, saying<559>, "Whom<4310> shall I send<7971>, and who<4310> will go<1980> for Us?" Then I said<559>, "Here<2009> am I. Send<7971> me!"
He said<559>, "Go<1980>, and tell<559> this<2088> people<5971>: 'Keep<8085> on listening<8085>, but do not perceive<995>; Keep<7200> on looking<7200>, but do not understand<3045>.'
"Render<8080> the hearts<3820> of this<2088> people<5971> insensitive<8080>, Their ears<241> dull<3513>, And their eyes<5869> dim<8173>, Otherwise<6435> they might see<7200> with their eyes<5869>, Hear<8085> with their ears<241>, Understand<995> with their hearts<3824>, And return<7725> and be healed<7495>."
Then I said<559>, "Lord<136>, how<4970> long<5704><4970>?" And He answered<559>, "Until<5704><834><518> cities<5892> are devastated<7582> and without<369> inhabitant<3427>, Houses<1004> are without<369> people<120> And the land<127> is utterly<8077> desolate<8077>,
"The LORD<3068> has removed<7368> men<120> far<7368> away, And the forsaken<5805> places<5805> are many<7231> in the midst<7130> of the land<776>.
"Yet<5750> there will be a tenth<6224> portion<6224> in it, And it will again<7725> be subject to burning<1197>, Like a terebinth<424> or an oak<437> Whose<834> stump<4676> remains when<834> it is felled<7995>. The holy<6944> seed<2233> is its stump<4676>."
