3Nations <01471> come <01980> to your light <0216>, kings <04428> to your bright <05051> light <02225>.
4Look <07200> all around <05439> you! They all <03605> gather <06908> and come <0935> to you– your sons <01121> come <0935> from far <07350> away and your daughters <01323> are escorted <06654> by guardians <0539>.
5Then <0227> you will look <07200> and smile <05102>, you will be excited <07337> and your heart <03824> will swell <06342> with pride. For <03588> the riches <01995> of distant lands <03220> will belong <02015> to <05921> you and the wealth <02428> of nations <01471> will come <0935> to you.
6Camel <01581> caravans <08229> will cover <03680> your roads, young camels <01070> from Midian <04080> and Ephah <05891>. All <03605> the merchants of Sheba <07614> will come <0935>, bringing gold <02091> and incense <03828> and singing <01319> praises <08416> to the Lord <03068>.
7All <03605> the sheep <06629> of Kedar <06938> will be gathered <06908> to you; the rams <0352> of Nebaioth <05032> will be available <08334> to you as sacrifices. They will go up <05927> on <05921> my altar <04196> acceptably <07522>, and I will bestow honor <06286> on my majestic <08597> temple <01004>.
8Who <04310> are these <0428> who float along <05774> like a cloud <05645>, who fly like doves <03123> to <0413> their shelters <0699>?
9Indeed <03588>, the coastlands <0339> look <06960> eagerly for me, the large ships <08659> ships <0591> are in the lead <07223>, bringing <0935> your sons <01121> from far away <07350>, along with <0854> their silver <03701> and gold <02091>, to honor <08034> the Lord <03068> your God <0430>, the Holy One <06918> of Israel <03478>, for <03588> he has bestowed honor <06286> on you.
10Foreigners <05236> <01121> will rebuild <01129> your walls <02346>; their kings <04428> will serve <08334> you. Even though <03588> I struck <05221> you down <05221> in my anger <07110>, I will restore my favor <07522> and have compassion <07355> on you.
11Your gates <08179> will remain open <06605> at all times <08548>; they will not <03808> be shut <05462> during the day <03119> or at night <03915>, so that the wealth <02428> of nations <01471> may be delivered <0935>, with their kings <04428> leading <05090> the way.

13The splendor <03519> of Lebanon <03844> will come <0935> to <0413> you, its evergreens <01265>, firs <08410>, and cypresses <08391> together <03162>, to beautify <06286> my palace <04720> <04725>; I will bestow honor <03513> on my throne room <07272> <04725>.
14The children <01121> of your oppressors <06031> will come <01980> bowing <07817> to <0413> you; all <03605> who treated <05006> you with disrespect <05006> will bow down <07812> at your feet <07272>. They will call <07121> you, ‘The City <05892> of the Lord <03069>, Zion <06726> of the Holy One <06918> of Israel <03478>.’
15You were <01961> once <08478> abandoned <05805> and despised <08130>, with no one <0369> passing through <05674>, but I will make <07760> you a permanent <05769> source of pride <01347> and joy <04885> to coming <01755> generations <01755>.
16You will drink <03243> the milk <02461> of nations <01471>; you will nurse <03243> at the breasts <07699> of kings <04428>. Then you will recognize <03045> that <03588> I <0589>, the Lord <03068>, am your deliverer <03467>, your protector <01350>, the powerful ruler <046> of Jacob <03290>.
17Instead <08478> of bronze <05178>, I will bring <0935> you gold <02091>, instead <08478> of iron <01270>, I will bring <0935> you silver <03701>, instead <08478> of wood <06086>, I will bring you bronze <05178>, instead <08478> of stones <068>, I will bring <07760> you iron <01270>. I will make prosperity <07965> your overseer <06486>, and vindication <06666> your sovereign ruler <05065>.
18Sounds of violence <02555> will no <03808> longer <05750> be heard <08085> in your land <0776>, or the sounds of destruction <07701> and devastation <07667> within your borders <01366>. You will name <07121> your walls <02346>, ‘Deliverance <03444>,’ and your gates <08179>, ‘Praise <08416>.’
19The sun <08121> will no <03808> longer <05750> supply light <0216> for you by day <03119>, nor <03808> will the moon’s <03394> brightness <05051> shine <0215> on you; the Lord <03068> will be your permanent <05769> source of light <0216>– the splendor <08597> of your God <0430> will shine upon you.
20Your sun <08121> will no <03808> longer <05750> set <0935>; your moon <03391> will not <03808> disappear <0622>; the Lord <03068> will be <01961> your permanent <05769> source <07999> of light <0216>; your time <03117> of sorrow <060> will be over.
21All <03605> of your people <05971> will be godly <06662>; they will possess <03423> the land <0776> permanently <05769>. I will plant <04302> them like a shoot <05342>; they will be the product of <04639> my labor <04639>, through <03027> whom I reveal <06286> my splendor <06286>.
22The least <06996> of you will multiply <01961> into a thousand <0505>; the smallest <06810> of you will become a large <06099> nation <01471>. When the right time <06256> comes, I <0589> the Lord <03068> will quickly <02363> do this!”
