3You threw <07993> me into the deep <04688> waters, into the middle <03824> of the sea <03220>; the ocean current <05104> engulfed <05437> me; all <03605> the mighty waves <01530> <04867> you sent swept over <05674> me.
4I <0589> thought <0559> I had been banished <01644> from <05048> your sight <05869>, that I would never again <03254> see <05027> your holy <06944> temple <01964>!
5Water <04325> engulfed <0661> me up to my neck <05315>; the deep <08415> ocean surrounded <05437> me; seaweed <05488> was wrapped around <02280> my head <07218>.
6I went down <03381> to the very bottoms <07095> of the mountains <02022>; the gates <01280> of the netherworld <0776> barred me in <01157> forever <05769>; but you brought <05927> me <02416> up <05927> from the Pit <07845>, O Lord <03068>, my God <0430>.
