3And Abraham <085> rose up early <07925> (8686) in the morning <01242>_, and saddled <02280> (8799) his ass <02543>_, and took <03947> (8799) two <08147> of his young men <05288> with him, and Isaac <03327> his son <01121>_, and clave <01234> (8762) the wood <06086> for the burnt offering <05930>_, and rose up <06965> (8799)_, and went <03212> (8799) unto the place <04725> of which God <0430> had told <0559> (8804) him.
4Then on the third <07992> day <03117> Abraham <085> lifted up <05375> (8799) his eyes <05869>_, and saw <07200> (8799) the place <04725> afar off <07350>_.
5And Abraham <085> said <0559> (8799) unto his young men <05288>_, Abide <03427> (8798) ye here with the ass <02543>_; and I and the lad <05288> will go <03212> (8799) yonder <03541> and worship <07812> (8691)_, and come again <07725> (8799) to you.
6And Abraham <085> took <03947> (8799) the wood <06086> of the burnt offering <05930>_, and laid <07760> (8799) [it] upon Isaac <03327> his son <01121>_; and he took <03947> (8799) the fire <0784> in his hand <03027>_, and a knife <03979>_; and they went <03212> (8799) both <08147> of them together <03162>_.
7And Isaac <03327> spake <0559> (8799) unto Abraham <085> his father <01>_, and said <0559> (8799)_, My father <01>_: and he said <0559> (8799)_, Here [am] I, my son <01121>_. And he said <0559> (8799)_, Behold the fire <0784> and the wood <06086>_: but where [is] the lamb <07716> for a burnt offering <05930>_? {lamb: or, kid}
8And Abraham <085> said <0559> (8799)_, My son <01121>_, God <0430> will provide <07200> (8799) himself a lamb <07716> for a burnt offering <05930>_: so they went <03212> (8799) both of them <08147> together <03162>_.
9And they came <0935> (8799) to the place <04725> which God <0430> had told <0559> (8804) him of; and Abraham <085> built <01129> (8799) an altar <04196> there, and laid <06186> (0) the wood <06086> in order <06186> (8799)_, and bound <06123> (8799) Isaac <03327> his son <01121>_, and laid <07760> (8799) him on the altar <04196> upon <04605> the wood <06086>_.
10And Abraham <085> stretched forth <07971> (8799) his hand <03027>_, and took <03947> (8799) the knife <03979> to slay <07819> (8800) his son <01121>_.
11And the angel <04397> of the LORD <03068> called <07121> (8799) unto him out of heaven <08064>_, and said <0559> (8799)_, Abraham <085>_, Abraham <085>_: and he said <0559> (8799)_, Here [am] I.
12And he said <0559> (8799)_, Lay <07971> (8799) not thine hand <03027> upon <0413> the lad <05288>_, neither do thou <06213> (8799) any thing <03972> unto him: for now <06258> I know <03045> (8804) that thou fearest <03373> God <0430>_, seeing thou hast not <03808> withheld <02820> (8804) thy son <01121>_, thine only <03173> [son] from me.
13And Abraham <085> lifted up <05375> (8799) his eyes <05869>_, and looked <07200> (8799)_, and behold behind <0310> [him] a ram <0352> caught <0270> (8737) in a thicket <05442> by his horns <07161>_: and Abraham <085> went <03212> (8799) and took <03947> (8799) the ram <0352>_, and offered him up <05927> (8686) for a burnt offering <05930> in the stead <08478> of his son <01121>_.
14And Abraham <085> called <07121> (8799) the name <08034> of that place <04725> Jehovahjireh <03070>_: as <0834> it is said <0559> (8735) [to] this day <03117>_, In the mount <02022> of the LORD <03068> it shall be seen <07200> (8735)_. {Jehovahjireh: that is, The Lord will see, or, provide}
15And the angel <04397> of the LORD <03068> called <07121> (8799) unto Abraham <085> out of heaven <08064> the second time <08145>_,
16And said <0559> (8799)_, By myself have I sworn <07650> (8738)_, saith <05002> (8803) the LORD <03068>_, for because <03282> <0834> thou hast done <06213> (8804) this thing <01697>_, and hast not <03808> withheld <02820> (8804) thy son <01121>_, thine only <03173> [son]:
17That in blessing <01288> (8763) I will bless <01288> (8762) thee, and in multiplying <07235> (8687) I will multiply <07235> (8686) thy seed <02233> as the stars <03556> of the heaven <08064>_, and as the sand <02344> which [is] upon the sea <03220> shore <08193>_; and thy seed <02233> shall possess <03423> (8799) the gate <08179> of his enemies <0341> (8802)_; {shore: Heb. lip}
18And in thy seed <02233> shall all the nations <01471> of the earth <0776> be blessed <01288> (8694)_; because <0834> <06118> thou hast obeyed <08085> (8804) my voice <06963>_.
19So Abraham <085> returned <07725> (8799) unto his young men <05288>_, and they rose up <06965> (8799) and went <03212> (8799) together <03162> to Beersheba <0884>_; and Abraham <085> dwelt <03427> (8799) at Beersheba <0884>_.
20And it came to pass after <0310> these things <01697>_, that it was told <05046> (8714) Abraham <085>_, saying <0559> (8800)_, Behold, Milcah <04435>_, she hath also born <03205> (8804) children <01121> unto thy brother <0251> Nahor <05152>_;

22And Chesed <03777>_, and Hazo <02375>_, and Pildash <06394>_, and Jidlaph <03044>_, and Bethuel <01328>_.
