Then the LORD<3068> spoke<1696> to Moses<4872>, saying<559>:
"Speak<1696> to all<3605> the congregation<5712> of the sons<1121> of Israel<3478> and say<559> to them, 'You shall be holy<6918>, for I the LORD<3068> your God<430> am holy<6918>.
'Every<376> one<376> of you shall reverence<3372> his mother<517> and his father<1>, and you shall keep<8104> My sabbaths<7676>; I am the LORD<3068> your God<430>.
'Do not turn<6437> to idols<457> or make<6213> for yourselves molten<4541> gods<430>; I am the LORD<3068> your God<430>.
'Now when<3588> you offer<2076> a sacrifice<2077> of peace<8002> offerings<8002> to the LORD<3068>, you shall offer<2076> it so that you may be accepted<7522>.
'It shall be eaten<398> the same day<3117> you offer<2077> it, and the next<4283> day<4283>; but what remains<3498> until<5704> the third<7992> day<3117> shall be burned<8313> with fire<784>.
'So if<518> it is eaten<398> at all<398> on the third<7992> day<3117>, it is an offense<6292>; it will not be accepted<7521>.
'Everyone who eats<398> it will bear<5375> his iniquity<5771>, for he has profaned<2490> the holy<6944> thing<6944> of the LORD<3068>; and that person<5315> shall be cut<3772> off<3772> from his people<5971>.
'Now when you reap<7114> the harvest<7105> of your land<776>, you shall not reap<7114> to the very corners<6285> of your field<7704>, nor<3808> shall you gather<3950> the gleanings<3951> of your harvest<7105>.
'Nor<3808> shall you glean<5953> your vineyard<3754>, nor<3808> shall you gather<3950> the fallen<6528> fruit<6528> of your vineyard<3754>; you shall leave<5800> them for the needy<6041> and for the stranger<1616>. I am the LORD<3068> your God<430>.
'You shall not steal<1589>, nor<3808> deal<8266> falsely<8266>, nor<3808> lie<8266> to one<376> another<5997>.
'You shall not swear<7650> falsely<8267> by My name<8034>, so as to profane<2455> the name<8034> of your God<430>; I am the LORD<3068>.
'You shall not oppress<6231> your neighbor<7453>, nor<3808> rob<1497> him. The wages<6468> of a hired<7916> man<7916> are not to remain<3885> with you all night<3885> until<5704> morning<1242>.
'You shall not curse<7043> a deaf<2795> man<2795>, nor<3808> place<5414> a stumbling<4383> block<4383> before<6440> the blind<5787>, but you shall revere<3372> your God<430>; I am the LORD<3068>.
'You shall do<6213> no<3808> injustice<5766> in judgment<4941>; you shall not be partial<5375><6440> to the poor<1800> nor<3808> defer<1921><6440> to the great<1419>, but you are to judge<8199> your neighbor<5997> fairly<6664>.
'You shall not go<1980> about as a slanderer<7400> among your people<5971>, and you are not to act<5975> against<5921> the life<1818> of your neighbor<7453>; I am the LORD<3068>.
'You shall not hate<8130> your fellow<251> countryman<251> in your heart<3824>; you may surely<3198> reprove<3198> your neighbor<5997>, but shall not incur<5375> sin<2399> because<5921> of him.
'You shall not take<5358> vengeance<5358>, nor<3808> bear<5201> any grudge<5201> against<854> the sons<1121> of your people<5971>, but you shall love<157> your neighbor<7453> as yourself; I am the LORD<3068>.
'You are to keep<8104> My statutes<2708>. You shall not breed<7250> together<7250> two<3610> kinds<3610> of your cattle<929>; you shall not sow<2232> your field<7704> with two<3610> kinds<3610> of seed, nor<3808> wear<5927> a garment<899> upon you of two<3610> kinds<3610> of material<8162> mixed<8162> together<8162>.
'Now if<3588> a man<376> lies<7901> carnally<7902><2233> with a woman<802> who<1931> is a slave<8198> acquired<2778> for another man<376>, but who has in no<3808> way<6299> been redeemed<6299> nor<3808> given<5414> her freedom<2668>, there shall be punishment<1244>; they shall not, however, be put<4191> to death<4191>, because<3588> she was not free<2666>.
'He shall bring<935> his guilt<817> offering<817> to the LORD<3068> to the doorway<6607> of the tent<168> of meeting<4150>, a ram<352> for a guilt<817> offering<817>.
'The priest<3548> shall also make<3722> atonement<3722> for him with the ram<352> of the guilt<817> offering<817> before<6440> the LORD<3068> for his sin<2403> which<834> he has committed<2398>, and the sin<2403> which<834> he has committed<2398> will be forgiven<5545> him.
'When<3588> you enter<935> the land<776> and plant<5193> all<3605> kinds of trees<6086> for food<3978>, then you shall count<6188> their fruit<6529> as forbidden<6190>. Three<7969> years<8141> it shall be forbidden<6189> to you; it shall not be eaten<398>.
'But in the fourth<7243> year<8141> all<3605> its fruit<6529> shall be holy<6944>, an offering of praise<1974> to the LORD<3068>.
'In the fifth<2549> year<8141> you are to eat<398> of its fruit<6529>, that its yield<8393> may increase<8393> for you; I am the LORD<3068> your God<430>.
'You shall not eat<398> anything with the blood<1818>, nor<3808> practice<5172> divination<5172> or soothsaying<6049>.
'You shall not round<5362> off the side-growth<6285> of your heads<7218> nor<3808> harm<7843> the edges<6285> of your beard<2206>.
'You shall not make<5414> any cuts<8296> in your body<1320> for the dead<5315> nor<3808> make<5414> any tattoo<3793><7085> marks<3793> on yourselves: I am the LORD<3068>.
'Do not profane<2455> your daughter<1323> by making<2181> her a harlot<2181>, so that the land<776> will not fall<2181> to harlotry<2181> and the land<776> become<4390> full<4390> of lewdness<2154>.
'You shall keep<8104> My sabbaths<7676> and revere<3372> My sanctuary<4720>; I am the LORD<3068>.
'Do not turn<6437> to mediums<178> or spiritists<3049>; do not seek<1245> them out to be defiled<2930> by them. I am the LORD<3068> your God<430>.
'You shall rise<6965> up before<4480><6440> the grayheaded<7872> and honor<1921> the aged<6440><2205>, and you shall revere<3372> your God<430>; I am the LORD<3068>.
'When<3588> a stranger<1616> resides<1481> with you in your land<776>, you shall not do<3238> him wrong<3238>.
'The stranger<1616> who resides<1481> with you shall be to you as the native<249> among<854> you, and you shall love<157> him as yourself, for you were aliens<1616> in the land<776> of Egypt<4714>; I am the LORD<3068> your God<430>.
'You shall do<6213> no<3808> wrong<5766> in judgment<4941>, in measurement<4060> of weight<4948>, or capacity<4884>.
'You shall have<1961> just<6664> balances<3976>, just<6664> weights<68>, a just<6664> ephah<374>, and a just<6664> hin<1969>; I am the LORD<3068> your God<430>, who<834> brought<3318> you out from the land<776> of Egypt<4714>.
'You shall thus observe<8104> all<3605> My statutes<2708> and all<3605> My ordinances<4941> and do<6213> them; I am the LORD<3068>.'"
