3"I have made<3772> a covenant<1285> with My chosen<972>; I have sworn<7650> to David<1732> My servant<5650>,
4I will establish<3559> your seed<2233> forever<5704><5769> And build<1129> up your throne<3678> to all<1755> generations<1755>." Selah<5542>.
5The heavens<8064> will praise<3034> Your wonders<6382>, O LORD<3068>; Your faithfulness<530> also<637> in the assembly<6951> of the holy<6918> ones<6918>.

30"If<518> his sons<1121> forsake<5800> My law<8451> And do not walk<1980> in My judgments<4941>,
31If<518> they violate<2490> My statutes<2708> And do not keep<8104> My commandments<4687>,
32Then I will punish<6485> their transgression<6588> with the rod<7626> And their iniquity<5771> with stripes<5061>.
33"But I will not break<6565> off My lovingkindness<2617> from him, Nor<3808> deal<8266> falsely<8266> in My faithfulness<530>.
34"My covenant<1285> I will not violate<2490>, Nor<3808> will I alter<8132> the utterance<4161> of My lips<8193>.
35"Once<259> I have sworn<7650> by My holiness<6944>; I will not lie<3576> to David<1732>.
36"His descendants<2233> shall endure<1961> forever<5769> And his throne<3678> as the sun<8121> before<5048> Me.
