NASB: "Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a delightful child? Indeed, as often as I have spoken against him, I certainly still remember him; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him," declares the LORD.


AYT: "Apakah Efraim anak laki-laki kesayangan-Ku? Apakah dia anak yang menyenangkan? Sebab, setiap kali Aku menghardiknya, Aku benar-benar masih mengingatnya. Karena itu, hati-Ku sangat merindukannya. Aku benar-benar akan berbelaskasihan kepadanya," firman TUHAN.

TB: Anak kesayangankah gerangan Efraim bagi-Ku atau anak kesukaan? Sebab setiap kali Aku menghardik dia, tak putus-putusnya Aku terkenang kepadanya; sebab itu hati-Ku terharu terhadap dia; tak dapat tidak Aku akan menyayanginya, demikianlah firman TUHAN.

TL: Bukankah Efrayim bagi-Ku akan anak yang kekasih? bukankah ia bagi-Ku akan anak timang-timangan? karena seberapa kali Aku berfirman akan halnya, maka sangat terkenanglah Aku akan dia, sebab itu hati-Ku hancur dari karenanya, niscaya Aku mengasihani akan dia kelak, demikianlah firman Tuhan.

MILT: Apakah Efraim anak laki-laki kesayangan-Ku? Atau apakah dia seorang anak yang menyenangkan? Sebab walaupun Aku sering berbicara melawannya, Aku sungguh-sungguh masih mengingatnya, oleh sebab itu hatiku merintih karena dia; Aku benar-benar mengasihaninya," firman TUHAN (YAHWEH - 03068).

Shellabear 2010: Apakah Efraim itu anak kesayangan bagi-Ku, apakah dia anak emas? Karena setiap kali Aku mengancam dia, Aku pasti terkenang lagi kepadanya. Itulah sebabnya hati-Ku rindu kepadanya, Aku pasti mengasihani dia,” demikianlah firman ALLAH.

BIS: Israel, engkau anak kesayangan-Ku, anak tercinta, buah hati-Ku. Setiap kali Aku mengancammu Aku selalu ingat padamu dengan rindu. Engkau akan Kuperlakukan dengan penuh belas kasihan.

TMV: Hai Israel, engkau anak kesayangan-Ku, anak tercinta, buah hati-Ku. Setiap kali Aku mengancam engkau, Aku mengingat engkau dengan rindu. Aku mengasihimu; Aku akan berbelas kasihan.

FAYH: Dan TUHAN menyahut, "Efraim tetap anak-Ku, anak kesayangan-Ku. Walaupun Aku harus menghukum dia, Aku tetap mengasihi dia. Aku merindukan dia dan aku pasti menaruh belas kasihan kepadanya." Demikianlah firman TUHAN.

ENDE: Adakah Efraim bagiKu anak jang tertjinta, anak kesukaanKu, sehingga tiap2 kali dia Kuantjam Aku lalu teringat lagi kepadanja dan batinKu gelisah karenanja hingga Aku merahimi dia?" -- itulah firman Jahwe.

NETBible: Indeed, the people of Israel are my dear children. They are the children I take delight in. For even though I must often rebuke them, I still remember them with fondness. So I am deeply moved with pity for them and will surely have compassion on them. I, the Lord, affirm it!
