AMP: The watchman said, The morning comes, but also the night. [Another time, if Edom earnestly wishes to know] if you will inquire [of me], inquire; return, come again.


AYT: Pengawal itu menjawab, “Pagi datang, dan demikian juga malam. Kalau kamu ingin bertanya, bertanyalah, datanglah lagi!”

TB: Pengawal itu berkata: "Pagi akan datang, tetapi malam juga. Jika kamu mau bertanya, datanglah bertanya sekali lagi!"

TL: Maka sahut penunggu itu: Sudah sampai dini hari, maka ada lagi malam; jikalau kamu hendak bertanya, baiklah bertanya, tetapi datanglah kembali pada lain kali.

MILT: Pengintai berkata: Pagi datang, dan juga malam; jika kamu mau memeriksa, periksalah! Kembalilah! Datanglah!"

Shellabear 2010: Jawab pengawal itu, “Pagi akan datang, tetapi malam juga. Kalau kamu mau bertanya, datanglah bertanya lagi!”

ENDE: Dan si pendjaga lalu menjahut: "Pagi hari datang dan malam hari pula. Djikalau nanti kamu mau bertanja, bertanjalah sadja; datanglah kembali!"

Shellabear 1912: Maka jawab pengawal itu: "Sudah sampai dinihari dan ada lagi. Maka jikalau kamu hendak bertanya, bertanyalah baliklah kamu kemari!"

Bugis: Pappébalikku, "Poléi matu éléé, iyakiya wennito. Rékko maéloko makkutana, poléno makkutanasi?"

Makasar: Appialima’ angkana, "Labattui bari’basaka, mingka bangngia pole. Punna erokko akkuta’nang, battu poleang mako akkuta’nang."

Toraja: Mebalimi tu pa’kampa nakua: Tilalekmo masiang, apa malillinpa. Iake la mipekutananni, ma’din mekutana, apa misae polemora.

Karo: Erjabap aku Ningku "Nandangi siang me wari, tapi reh denga ka nge berngi. Adi nungkun denga atendu, rehlah kam sekali nari nungkunsa."

Simalungun: Nini siparjaga, ʻLaho siang ma ari, tapi homa na roh ma borngin.ʼ Anggo sihol manungkun ope nasiam, roh ma nasiam use laho manungkun.”

Toba: Ninna parjaga i ma: Nunga torang ari, huhut dope borngin. Molo sapala manangkasi hamu, tangkasi hamu ma, dung i mulak ma hamu tuson.
