3so that no<3367> one<3367> would be disturbed<4525> by these<3778> afflictions<2347>; for you yourselves<846> know<3609> that we have been destined<2749> for this<3778>.
4For indeed<2532> when<3753> we were with you, we kept telling<4302> you in advance<4302> that we were going<3195> to suffer<2346> affliction<2346>; and so<2531> it came<1096> to pass<1096>, as you know<3609>.
