But God <0430> remembered <02142> Noah <05146> and all <03605> the wild animals <02416> and domestic animals <0929> that <0834> were with <0854> him in the ark <08392>. God <0430> caused a wind <07307> to blow <05674> over <05921> the earth <0776> and the waters <04325> receded <07918>.
The fountains <04599> of the deep <08415> and the floodgates <0699> of heaven <08064> were closed <05534>, and the rain <01653> stopped falling <03607> from <04480> the sky <08064>.
The waters <04325> kept receding <07725> steadily <01980> from the earth <0776>, so that they <04325> had gone down <07725> by the end <07097> of the 150 <03967> <02572> days <03117>.
On the seventeenth <06240> <07651> day <03117> of the seventh <07637> month <02320>, the ark <08392> came to rest <05117> on <05921> one of the mountains <02022> of Ararat <0780>.
The waters <04325> kept on <01980> receding <02637> until <05704> the tenth <06224> month <02320>. On the first <0259> day of the tenth <06224> month <02320>, the tops <07218> of the mountains <02022> became visible <07200>.
At the end <07093> of forty <0705> days <03117>, Noah <05146> opened <06605> the window <02474> he had made <06213> in the ark <08392>
and sent <07971> out a raven <06158>; it kept flying back <03318> <03318> and forth <07725> until <05704> the waters <04325> had dried up <03001> on <05921> the earth <0776>.
Then Noah sent out <07971> a dove <03123> to <0854> see <07200> if the waters <04325> had receded <07043> from <05921> the surface <06440> of the ground <0127>.
The dove <03123> could not <03808> find <04672> a resting place <04494> for its feet <07272> because water <04325> still covered <05921> the surface <06440> of the entire <03605> earth <0776>, and so it returned <07725> to <0413> Noah in <0413> the ark <08392>. He stretched out <07971> his hand <03027>, took <03947> the dove, and brought <0935> it back <0935> into <0413> <0413> the ark <08392>.
He waited <02342> seven <07651> more <05750> days <03117> and then sent <07971> out the dove <03123> again <03254> from <04480> the ark <08392>.
When the dove <03123> returned <0935> to him <0413> in the evening <06153>, there was <02009> a freshly <06256> plucked <02965> olive <02132> leaf <05929> in its beak <06310>! Noah <05146> knew <03045> that <03588> the waters <04325> had receded <07043> from <05921> the earth <0776>.
He waited <03176> another <0312> seven <07651> days <03117> and sent <07971> the dove <03123> out again <05750>, but it did not <03808> return <07725> to <0413> him this time.
In Noah’s six <08337> hundred <03967> and first <0259> year <08141>, in the first <07223> day of the first <0259> month <02320>, the waters <04325> had dried <02717> up from <05921> the earth <0776>, and Noah <05146> removed <05493> the covering <04372> from the ark <08392> and saw <07200> that <02009> the surface <06440> of the ground <0127> was dry <02720>.
And by the twenty-seventh <06242> <07651> day <03117> of the second <08145> month <02320> the earth <0776> was dry <03001>.
Then God <0430> spoke <01696> to <0413> Noah <05146> and said <0559>,
“Come out <03318> of <04480> the ark <08392>, you <0859>, your wife <0802>, your sons <01121>, and your sons <01121>’ wives <0802> with <0854> you.
Bring out <03318> with <0854> you all <03605> the living creatures <02416> that <0834> are with <0854> you. Bring out every <03605> living thing <01320>, including the birds <05775>, animals <0929>, and every <03605> creeping thing <07431> that creeps <07430> on <05921> the earth <0776>. Let them increase <08317> and be fruitful <06509> and multiply <07235> on <05921> the earth <0776>!”
Noah <05146> went out <03318> along with <0854> his sons <01121>, his wife <0802>, and his sons <01121>’ wives <0802>.
Every <03605> living creature <02416>, every <03605> creeping thing <07431>, every <03605> bird <05775>, and everything <03605> that moves <07430> on <05921> the earth <0776> went out <03318> of <04480> the ark <08392> in their groups <04940>.
Noah <05146> built <01129> an altar <04196> to the Lord <03068>. He then took <03947> some of every <03605> kind of clean <02889> animal <0929> and clean <02889> bird <05775> and offered <05927> burnt offerings <05930> on the altar <04196>.
And the Lord <03068> smelled <07306> the soothing <07381> aroma <05207> and said <03068> <0559> to <0413> himself <03820>, “I will never <03808> again <03254> curse <07043> the ground <0127> because <05668> of humankind <0120>, even though <03588> the inclination <03336> of their minds <0120> <03820> is evil <07451> from childhood <05271> on. I will never <03808> again <03254> destroy <05221> everything <03605> that lives <02416>, as I have just <0834> done <06213>.
“While <05750> the earth <0776> continues to exist <03117> <03605>, planting time <02233> and harvest <07105>, cold <07120> and heat <02527>, summer <07019> and winter <02779>, and day <03117> and night <03915> will not <03808> cease <07673>.”
