Jawa 1994: Gusti Allah nekakaké angin saka segara. Angin mau nggawa manuk gemak pirang-piran sing padha mabur cendhèk banget. Tekan palèrèhane wong Israèl manuk-manuk mau padha méncok saenggon-enggon nganti sawetara kilomèter sakiwa-tengené palèrèhan. Saking akèhé nganti padha tumpang tindhih, dhuwuré tumpukané wetara samèter.


AYT: Kemudian, angin dari TUHAN bertiup membawa burung puyuh dari laut dan menjatuhkan burung puyuh ke perkemahan, seluas satu hari perjalanan ke arah sini dan sehari perjalanan ke arah sana di sekeliling perkemahan, dua hasta tingginya dari tanah.
