TB: dan juga Mizpa, sebab katanya: "TUHAN kiranya berjaga-jaga antara aku dan engkau, apabila kita berjauhan.


AYT: Kemudian Laban berkata, "Biarlah TUHAN menjaga kita apabila kita berpisah satu sama lain." Maka tempat itu juga disebut Mizpa.

TL: dan lagi Mizpa, karena katanya: Hendaklah Tuhan menunggu antara aku dengan dikau, setelah kita bercerai seorang dengan seorang.

MILT: atau Mizpa, karena dia berkata, "Biarlah TUHAN (YAHWEH - 03068) mengawasi engkau dan aku, ketika kita saling tersembunyi seorang terhadap yang lain.

FAYH: Karena itu, tumpukan batu itu juga disebut 'Menara Pengawas' (Mizpa). Laban berkata, "Kiranya TUHAN menjaga agar aku dan engkau memegang teguh perjanjian ini sesudah kita berjauhan satu dengan yang lain.
