NETBible: He did what the Lord approved, just as his father Uzziah had done. (He did not, however, have the audacity to enter the temple.) Yet the people were still sinning.


AYT: Dia melakukan apa yang benar di mata TUHAN seperti semua yang dilakukan Uzia, ayahnya, meskipun dia tidak masuk ke bait TUHAN. Akan tetapi, rakyat tetap saja berbuat jahat.

TB: Ia melakukan apa yang benar di mata TUHAN, tepat seperti yang dilakukan Uzia, ayahnya, hanya ia tidak memasuki Bait TUHAN. Tetapi rakyat masih saja melakukan hal yang merusak.

TL: Maka dibuat baginda barang yang benar kepada pemandangan Tuhan, menurut segala perbuatan Uzia, ayahanda baginda, kecuali tiada ia masuk sampai ke dalam kaabah Tuhan; akan tetapi orang banyak lagi membinasakan dirinya.

ENDE: Ia membuat apa jang lurus dalam pandangan Jahwe, sepenuhnja seperti telah diperbuat 'Uzijahu, ajahnja. Hanjalah ia tidak memasuki Bait Jahwe. Rakjat terus membinasakan dirinja.

NASB: He did right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah had done; however he did not enter the temple of the LORD. But the people continued acting corruptly.

HCSB: He did what was right in the LORD's sight as his father Uzziah had done, except that he didn't enter the LORD's sanctuary. However, the people still behaved corruptly.
