TB: Jawabnya: "Selagi anak itu hidup, aku berpuasa dan menangis, karena pikirku: siapa tahu TUHAN mengasihani aku, sehingga anak itu tetap hidup.


AYT: Dia menjawab, “Saat anak itu hidup, aku berpuasa dan menangis, sebab pikirku, ‘Siapa tahu TUHAN mengasihani aku sehingga anak itu tetap hidup.’

TL: Maka titah baginda: Adapun aku berpuasa dan menangis pada masa kanak-kanak itu lagi hidup, yaitu sebab kataku: Siapa tahu, barangkali Tuhan hendak mengasihani akan daku serta menghidupi kanak-kanak itu.

MILT: Dan dia berkata, "Ketika anak itu masih hidup, aku berpuasa dan menangis, karena aku berkata, siapa tahu TUHAN (YAHWEH - 03068) mungkin berbelaskasihan kepadaku, dan anak itu bisa tetap hidup;
