TB: (39-28) ia meringkik setiap kali sangkakala ditiup; dan dari jauh sudah diciumnya perang, gertak para panglima dan pekik.


AYT: (39-28) Saat trompet berbunyi, ia berkata, ‘Rasakan!’ Dari kejauhan, ia mencium bau peperangan, gemuruh para panglima perang, dan deru peperangan mereka.

TL: (39-28) Di tengah bahana nafiri berbunyilah ia: hela! diciumnya bau perang dari jauh, demikianpun tempik bunyi suara segala panglima dan sorak segala rakyat!
