TB: Sebab itu seperti hatiku terharu mendengar suling, begitulah hatiku terharu melihat keadaan Moab, dan hatiku terharu melihat keadaan orang-orang Kir-Heres; bukankah sudah hilang segala harta yang mereka tumpuk?


AYT: “Karena itu, hati-Ku meratap bagi Moab seperti seruling, dan hati-Ku meratap seperti seruling bagi orang-orang Kir-Heres. Sebab, kekayaan yang mereka dapatkan telah lenyap.

TL: Maka sebab itu hatiku berdukacitakan Moab dan kubunyikan suling ratap; bahkan, akan hal segala orang Kir-Herespun kubunyikan suling ratap, karena hilanglah sudah segala kelebihan yang telah diperolehnya!
