6Jesus <2424> replied <3004>, “I <1473> am <1510> the way <3598>, and <2532> the truth <225>, and <2532> the life <2222>. No one <3762> comes <2064> to <4314> the Father <3962> except <1487> <3361> through <1223> me <1700>.
7If <1487> you have known <1097> me <3165>, you will know <1492> my <3450> Father <3962> too <302>. And <2532> from <575> now on <737> you do know <1097> him <846> and <2532> have seen <3708> him.”
8Philip <5376> said <3004>, “Lord <2962>, show <1166> us <2254> the Father <3962>, and <2532> we <2254> will be content <714>.”
9Jesus <2424> replied <3004>, “Have I been <1510> with <3326> you <5216> for so <5118> long <5550>, and <2532> you have <1097> not <3756> known <1097> me <3165>, Philip <5376>? The person who has seen <3708> me <1691> has seen <3708> the Father <3962>! How <4459> can <3004> you <4771> say <3004>, ‘Show <1166> us <2254> the Father <3962>’?
10Do you <4100> not <3756> believe <4100> that <3754> I <1473> am in <1722> the Father <3962>, and <2532> the Father <3962> is <1510> in <1722> me <1698>? The words <4487> that <3739> I <1473> say <3004> to you <5213>, I do <2980> not <3756> speak <2980> on <575> my own <1683> initiative, but <1161> the Father <3962> residing <3306> in <1722> me <1698> performs <4160> his <846> miraculous deeds <2041>.
11Believe <4100> me <3427> that <3754> I <1473> am in <1722> the Father <3962>, and <2532> the Father <3962> is in <1722> me <1698>, but <1161> if <1487> you do not <3361> believe me, believe <4100> because <1223> of the miraculous deeds <2041> themselves <846>.
12I tell <3004> you <5213> the solemn truth <281> <281>, the person who believes <4100> in <1519> me <1691> will perform the miraculous deeds <2041> that <3739> I <1473> am doing <4160>, and will perform <4160> greater <3173> deeds <4160> than <3173> these <5130>, because <3754> I <1473> am going <4198> to <4314> the Father <3962>.
13And <2532> I will do <4160> whatever <302> you ask <154> in <1722> my <3450> name <3686>, so that <2443> the Father <3962> may be glorified <1392> in <1722> the Son <5207>.
14If <1437> you ask <154> me <3165> anything <5100> in <1722> my <3450> name <3686>, I will do <4160> it <5124>.
15“If <1437> you love <25> me <3165>, you will obey <5083> my <1699> commandments <1785>.

22“Lord <2962>,” Judas <2455> (not <3756> Judas Iscariot <2469>) said <3004>, “what <5101> has happened <1096> that <3754> you are going <3195> to reveal <1718> yourself <4572> to us <2254> and <2532> not <3780> to the world <2889>?”
23Jesus <2424> replied <2036>, “If <1437> anyone <5100> loves <25> me <3165>, he will obey <5083> my <3450> word <3056>, and <2532> my <3450> Father <3962> will love <25> him <846>, and <2532> we will come <2064> to <4314> him <846> and <2532> take up <4160> residence <3438> with <3844> him <846>.
24The person who does <25> not <3361> love <25> me <3165> does <5083> not <3756> obey <5083> my <3450> words <3056>. And <2532> the word <3056> you hear <191> is <1510> not <3756> mine <1699>, but <235> the Father’s <3962> who sent <3992> me <3165>.
25“I have spoken <2980> these things <5023> while staying <3306> with <3844> you <5213>.
26But <1161> the Advocate <3875>, the Holy <40> Spirit <4151>, whom <3739> the Father <3962> will send <3992> in <1722> my <3450> name <3686>, will teach <1321> you <5209> everything <3956>, and <2532> will cause <5279> you <5209> to remember everything <3956> I <1473> said <2036> to you <5213>.
27“Peace <1515> I leave <863> with you <5213>; my <1699> peace <1515> I <1473> give <1325> to you <5213>; I do <1325> not <3756> give <1325> it to you <5213> as <2531> the world <2889> does <1325>. Do <5015> not <3361> let <5015> your <5216> hearts <2588> be distressed <5015> or <3366> lacking in courage <1168>.
28You heard <191> me <1473> say <2036> to you <5213>, ‘I am going away <5217> and <2532> I am coming <2064> back <4314> to you <5209>.’ If <1487> you loved <25> me <3165>, you would be glad <5463> that <3754> I am going <4198> to <4314> the Father <3962>, because <3754> the Father <3962> is <1510> greater than <3187> I <3450> am.
29I have told <2046> you <5213> now <3568> before <4250> it happens <1096>, so that <2443> when <3752> it happens <1096> you may believe <4100>.
30I will <2980> not <3765> speak <2980> with <3326> you <5216> much <4183> longer <3765>, for <1063> the ruler <758> of this world <2889> is coming <2064>. He has <2192> no <3756> <3762> power over <1722> me <1698>,
31but <235> I am doing <4160> just <2531> what the Father <3962> commanded <1785> me <3427>, so that <2443> the world <2889> may know <1097> that <3754> I love <25> the Father <3962>. Get up <1453>, let us go <71> from here <1782>.”
