TB: sebab pikir Saul: "Baiklah Mikhal kuberikan kepadanya; biarlah ia menjadi jerat bagi Daud, dan biarlah tangan orang Filistin memukul dia!" Lalu berkatalah Saul kepada Daud untuk kedua kalinya: "Pada hari ini engkau boleh menjadi menantuku."


AYT: Saul berkata, “Aku akan memberikan Mikhal kepadanya supaya dia menjadi jerat baginya. Biarlah tangan orang Filistin melawannya.” Saul berkata kepada Daud untuk kedua kalinya, “Pada hari ini, kamu menjadi menantuku.”

TL: Lalu titah Saul: Baiklah aku memberikan dia kepadanya akan suatu jerat baginya dan supaya tangan orang Filistinpun melawan dia, maka sebab itu titah Saul kepada Daud: Hendaklah pada hari ini engkau menjadi menantuku dengan anakku yang lain itu.

MILT: Dan Saul berkata, "Aku akan memberikan dia kepadanya, dan anakku akan menjadi jerat baginya. Dan tangan orang Filistin akan ada di atasnya." Dan Saul berkata kepada Daud untuk kedua kalinya, "Pada hari ini, engkau akan menjadi menantuku."

Shellabear 2010: Pikir Saul, “Aku akan memberikan Mikhal kepadanya. Biarlah Mikhal menjadi jerat baginya dan biarlah tangan orang Filistin menyentuh dia.” Sebab itu Saul berkata kepada Daud, “Sekarang untuk kedua kalinya engkau berkesempatan menjadi menantuku.”

KS (Revisi Shellabear 2011): Pikir Saul, "Aku akan memberikan Mikhal kepadanya. Biarlah Mikhal menjadi jerat baginya dan biarlah tangan orang Filistin menyentuh dia." Sebab itu Saul berkata kepada Daud, "Sekarang untuk kedua kalinya engkau berkesempatan menjadi menantuku."

KSKK: sebab pikirnya, "Saya akan memberikan putriku itu kepadanya, dan ia akan menjadi jerat bagi Daud. Orang-orang Filistin akan membunuhnya".

VMD: Dia berpikir, “Aku membuat Mikhal menjebak Daud. Aku akan membiarkan Mikhal kawin dengan Daud, dan kemudian aku membiarkan orang Filistin membunuhnya.” Saul berkata kepada Daud untuk kedua kalinya, “Engkau boleh mengawini anakku hari ini.”

BIS: Pikirnya, "Baiklah kutawarkan Mikhal kepada Daud, supaya Daud terjebak dan dapat dibunuh oleh orang Filistin." Jadi untuk kedua kalinya Saul berkata kepada Daud, "Sekarang engkau boleh menjadi menantuku."

TMV: Raja Saul berfikir, "Aku akan memberikan Mikhal kepada Daud supaya Daud terperangkap dan dibunuh oleh orang Filistin." Maka untuk kali yang kedua, Raja Saul bertitah kepada Daud, "Sekarang kamu akan menjadi menantu beta."

FAYH: "Sekarang ada kesempatan lagi untuk melihat dia dibunuh oleh orang-orang Filistin!" pikir Saul. (Saul bermaksud menjadikan Mikhal sebagai jerat untuk mencelakakan Daud.) "Engkau boleh menjadi menantuku; aku akan memberikan putriku yang bungsu kepadamu."

ENDE: Karena pikir Sjaul: "Akan kuberikan ia kepadanja, tetapi ia harus mendjadi perangkap baginja dan orang2 Felesjet harus menangani dia". Maka sampai dua kali Sjaul berkata kepada Dawud: "Hari ini engkau akan mendjadi menantuku".

Shellabear 1912: Maka titah Saul: "Aku hendak memberikan dia kepadanya supaya perempuan itu menjadi suatu jerat kepadanya supaya ia terkena bekas tangan orang Filistin." Sebab itu titah Saul kepada Daud: "Pada hari ini hendaklah engkau menjadi menantuku pada kedua kalinya."

NETBible: Saul said, “I will give her to him so that she may become a snare to him and the hand of the Philistines may be against him.” So Saul said to David, “Today is the second time for you to become my son-in-law.”
