2just as <2531> you have given <1325> him <846> authority <1849> over all <3956> humanity <4561>, so that <2443> he may give <1325> eternal <166> life <2222> to everyone <3956> you have given <1325> him <846>.
3Now <1161> this <3778> is <1510> eternal <166> life <2222>– that <2443> they know <1097> you <4571>, the only <3441> true <228> God <2316>, and <2532> Jesus <2424> Christ <5547>, whom <3739> you sent <649>.
4I <1473> glorified <1392> you <4571> on <1909> earth <1093> by completing <5048> the work <2041> you gave <1325> me <3427> to <2443> do <4160>.
5And <2532> now <3568>, Father <3962>, glorify <1392> me <3165> at <3844> your side <4572> with the glory <1391> I had <2192> with <3844> you <4671> before <4253> the world <2889> was created <1510>.
6“I have revealed <5319> your <4675> name <3686> to the men <444> you gave <1325> me <3427> out <1537> of the world <2889>. They belonged <1510> to you <4674>, and you gave <1325> them <846> to me <2504>, and <2532> they have obeyed <5083> your <4675> word <3056>.
7Now <3568> they understand <1097> that <3754> everything <3956> <3745> you have given <1325> me <3427> comes <1510> from <3844> you <4675>,
8because <3754> I have given <1325> them <846> the words <4487> you have given <1325> me <3427>. They accepted <2983> them <846> and <2532> really <230> understand <1097> that <3754> I came <1831> from <3844> you <4675>, and <2532> they believed <4100> that <3754> you <4771> sent <649> me <3165>.
9I <1473> am praying <2065> on behalf <4012> of them <846>. I am <2065> not <3756> praying <2065> on behalf <4012> of <2889> the world <2889>, but <235> on behalf <4012> of those <3739> you have given <1325> me <3427>, because <3754> they belong <1510> to you <4671>.
10Everything <3956> I have <1699> belongs to you <4674>, and <2532> everything you have <4674> belongs to me <1699>, and <2532> I have been glorified <1392> by <1722> them <846>.
11I am <1510> no longer <3765> in <1722> the world <2889>, but <2532> they <846> are <1510> in <1722> the world <2889>, and I <2504> am coming <2064> to <4314> you <4571>. Holy <40> Father <3962>, keep <5083> them <846> safe <5083> in <1722> your <4675> name <3686> that <3739> you have given <1325> me <3427>, so that <2443> they may be <1510> one <1520> just as <2531> we <2249> are one.
12When <3753> I was <1510> with <3326> them <846> I <1473> kept <5083> them <846> safe <5083> and <2532> watched over <5442> them in <1722> your <4675> name <3686> that <3739> you have given <1325> me <3427>. Not one <3762> of <1537> them <846> was lost <622> except <1487> <3361> the one <5207> destined for destruction <684>, so that <2443> the scripture <1124> could be fulfilled <4137>.
13But <1161> now <3568> I am coming <2064> to <4314> you <4571>, and <2532> I am saying <2980> these things <5023> in <1722> the world <2889>, so <2443> they may experience <2192> my <1699> joy <5479> completed <4137> in <1722> themselves <1438>.
14I <1473> have given <1325> them <846> your <4675> word <3056>, and <2532> the world <2889> has hated <3404> them <846>, because <3754> they do <1510> not <3756> belong <1510> to <1537> the world <2889>, just as <2531> I <1473> do <1510> not <3756> belong <1510> to <1537> the world <2889>.
15I am <2065> not <3756> asking <2065> you to <2443> take <142> them <846> out of <1537> the world <2889>, but <235> that <2443> you keep <5083> them <846> safe <5083> from <1537> the evil one <4190>.
16They do <1510> not <3756> belong <1510> to <1537> the world <2889> just as <2531> I <1473> do <1510> not <3756> belong <1510> to <1537> the world <2889>.
17Set <37> them <846> apart <37> in <1722> the truth <225>; your <4674> word <3056> is <1510> truth <225>.
18Just as <2531> you sent <649> me <1691> into <1519> the world <2889>, so I <2504> sent <649> them <846> into <1519> the world <2889>.
19And <2532> I <1473> set <37> myself <1683> apart <37> on <5228> their <846> behalf <5228>, so that <2443> they <846> too <2532> may be <37> truly <1722> <225> set apart <37>.
20“I am <2065> not <3756> praying <2065> only <3440> on <4012> their <5130> behalf <4012>, but <235> also <2532> on behalf <4012> of those who believe <4100> in <1519> me <1691> through <1223> their <846> testimony <3056>,
21that <2443> they will <1510> all <3956> be <1510> one <1520>, just as <2531> you <4771>, Father <3962>, are in <1722> me <1698> and I <2504> am in <1722> you <4671>. I pray that they <846> will be <1510> in <1722> us <2254>, so that <2443> the world <2889> will believe <4100> that <3754> you <4771> sent <649> me <3165>.
22The glory <1391> you gave <1325> to me <3427> I have given <1325> to them <846>, that <2443> they may be <1510> one <1520> just as <2531> we <2249> are one <1520>–
23I <1473> in <1722> them <846> and <2532> you <4771> in <1722> me <1698>– that <2443> they may be <1510> completely <5048> one <1520>, so that <2443> the world <2889> will know <1097> that <3754> you <4771> sent <649> me <3165>, and <2532> you have loved <25> them <846> just as <2531> you have loved <25> me <1691>.
24“Father <3962>, I want <2309> those <3739> you have given <1325> me <3427> to <2443> be <1510> with <3326> me <1700> where <3699> I <1473> am <1510>, so that <2443> they can see <2334> my <1699> glory <1391> that <3739> you gave <1325> me <3427> because <3754> you loved <25> me <3165> before <4253> the creation <2602> of the world <2889>.
25Righteous <1342> Father <3962>, even <2532> if the world <2889> does <1097> not <3756> know <1097> you <4571>, I <1473> know <1097> you <4571>, and <2532> these men <3778> know <1097> that <3754> you <4771> sent <649> me <3165>.
26I made known <1107> your <4675> name <3686> to them <846>, and <2532> I will continue to make <1107> it known <1107>, so that <2443> the love <26> you have loved <25> me <3165> with may be <1510> in <1722> them <846>, and I <2504> may be in <1722> them <846>.”
