1Jesus<2424> came<1831> out from the temple<2413> and was going<4198> away<4198> when<2532> His disciples<3101> came<4334> up to point<1925> out the temple<2413> buildings<3619> to Him.
2And He said<3004> to them, "Do you not see<991> all<3956> these<3778> things<3778>? Truly<281> I say<3004> to you, not one stone<3037> here<5602> will be left<863> upon another<3037>, which<3739> will not be torn<2647> down<2647>."
3As He was sitting<2521> on the Mount<3735> of Olives<1636>, the disciples<3101> came<4334> to Him privately<2596><2398>, saying<3004>, "Tell<3004> us, when<4219> will these<3778> things<3778> happen<1510>, and what<5101> will be the sign<4592> of Your coming<3952>, and of the end<4930> of the age<165>?"
4And Jesus<2424> answered<611> and said<3004> to them, "See<991> to it that no<3361> one<5100> misleads<4105> you.
5"For many<4183> will come<2064> in My name<3686>, saying<3004>, 'I am<1510> the Christ<5547>,' and will mislead<4105> many<4183>.
6"You will<3195> be hearing<191> of wars<4171> and rumors<189> of wars<4171>. See<3708> that you are not frightened<2360>, for those things must<1163> take<1096> place<1096>, but that is not yet<3768> the end<5056>.
7"For nation<1484> will rise<1453> against<1909> nation<1484>, and kingdom<932> against<1909> kingdom<932>, and in various<2596> places<5117> there will be famines<3042> and earthquakes<4578>.
8"But all<3956> these<3778> things<3778> are merely the beginning<746> of birth<5604> pangs<5604>.
9"Then<5119> they will deliver<3860> you to tribulation<2347>, and will kill<615> you, and you will be hated<3404> by all<3956> nations<1484> because<1223> of My name<3686>.
10"At that time<5119> many<4183> will fall<4624> away<4624> and will betray<3860> one<240> another<240> and hate<3404> one<240> another<240>.
11"Many<4183> false<5578> prophets<5578> will arise<1453> and will mislead<4105> many<4183>.
12"Because<1223> lawlessness<458> is increased<4129>, most<4183> people's<4183> love<26> will grow<5594> cold<5594>.
13"But the one who endures<5278> to the end<5056>, he will be saved<4982>.
14"This<3778> gospel<2098> of the kingdom<932> shall be preached<2784> in the whole<3650> world<3625> as a testimony<3142> to all<3956> the nations<1484>, and then<5119> the end<5056> will come<2240>.
15"Therefore<3767> when<3752> you see<3708> the ABOMINATION<946> OF DESOLATION<2050> which was spoken<3004> of through<1223> Daniel<1158> the prophet<4396>, standing<2476> in the holy<40> place<5117> (let the reader<314> understand<3539>),
16then<5119> those<3588> who<3588> are in Judea<2453> must flee<5343> to the mountains<3735>.
17"Whoever<3588> is on the housetop<1430> must not go<2597> down<2597> to get<142> the things out that are in his house<3614>.
18"Whoever<3588> is in the field<68> must not turn<1994> back<3694><1994> to get<142> his cloak<2440>.
19"But woe<3759> to those<3588> who are pregnant<1064> and to those<3588> who are nursing<2337> babies<2337> in those<3588> days<2250>!
20"But pray<4336> that your flight<5437> will not be in the winter<5494>, or<3366> on a Sabbath<4521>.
21"For then<5119> there will be a great<3173> tribulation<2347>, such<3634> as has not occurred<1096> since<575> the beginning<746> of the world<2889> until<2193> now<3568>, nor<3761> ever<3756><3361> will.
22"Unless<1487> those<1565> days<2250> had been cut<2856> short<2856>, no<3756><3956> life<4561> would have been saved<4982>; but for the sake<1223> of the elect<1588> those<1565> days<2250> will be cut<2856> short<2856>.
23"Then<5119> if<1437> anyone<5100> says<3004> to you, 'Behold<2400>, here<5602> is the Christ<5547>,' or<2228> 'There<5602> He is,' do not believe<4100> him.
24"For false<5580> Christs<5580> and false<5578> prophets<5578> will arise<1453> and will show<1325> great<3173> signs<4592> and wonders<5059>, so<5620> as to mislead<4105>, if<1487> possible<1415>, even<2532> the elect<1588>.
25"Behold<2400>, I have told<4275> you in advance<4275>.
26"So<3767> if<1437> they say<3004> to you, 'Behold<2400>, He is in the wilderness<2048>,' do not go<1831> out, or, 'Behold<2400>, He is in the inner<5009> rooms<5009>,' do not believe<4100> them.
27"For just<5618> as the lightning<796> comes<1831> from the east<395> and flashes<5316> even<2193> to the west<1424>, so<3779> will the coming<3952> of the Son<5207> of Man<444> be.
28"Wherever<3699><1437> the corpse<4430> is, there<1563> the vultures<105> will gather<4863>.
29"But immediately<2112> after<3326> the tribulation<2347> of those<1565> days<2250> THE SUN<2246> WILL BE DARKENED<4654>, AND THE MOON<4582> WILL NOT GIVE<1325> ITS LIGHT<5338>, AND THE STARS<792> WILL FALL<4098> from the sky<3772>, and the powers<1411> of the heavens<3772> will be shaken<4531>.
30"And then<5119> the sign<4592> of the Son<5207> of Man<444> will appear<5316> in the sky<3772>, and then<5119> all<3956> the tribes<5443> of the earth<1093> will mourn<2875>, and they will see<3708> the SON<5207> OF MAN<444> COMING<2064> ON THE CLOUDS<3507> OF THE SKY<3772> with power<1411> and great<4183> glory<1391>.
31"And He will send<649> forth<649> His angels<32> with A GREAT<3173> TRUMPET<4536> and THEY WILL GATHER<1996> TOGETHER<1996> His elect<1588> from the four<5064> winds<417>, from one end<206> of the sky<3772> to the other<206>.
32"Now<1161> learn<3129> the parable<3850> from the fig<4808> tree<4808>: when<3752> its branch<2798> has already<2235> become<1096> tender<527> and puts<1631> forth<1631> its leaves<5444>, you know<1097> that summer<2330> is near<1451>;
33so<3779>, you too<2532>, when<3752> you see<3708> all<3956> these<3778> things<3778>, recognize<1097> that He is near<1451>, right at the door<2374>.
34"Truly<281> I say<3004> to you, this<3778> generation<1074> will not pass<3928> away<3928> until<2193> all<3956> these<3778> things<3778> take<1096> place<1096>.
35"Heaven<3772> and earth<1093> will pass<3928> away<3928>, but My words<3056> will not pass<3928> away<3928>.
36"But of that day<2250> and hour<5610> no<3762> one<3762> knows<3609>, not even<3761> the angels<32> of heaven<3772>, nor<3761> the Son<5207>, but the Father<3962> alone<3441>.
37"For the coming<3952> of the Son<5207> of Man<444> will be just<5618> like<5618> the days<2250> of Noah<3575>.
38"For as in those<1565> days<2250> before<4253> the flood<2627> they were eating<5176> and drinking<4095>, marrying<1060> and giving<1061> in marriage<1061>, until<891> the day<2250> that Noah<3575> entered<1525> the ark<2787>,
39and they did not understand<1097> until<2193> the flood<2627> came<2064> and took<142> them all<537> away<142>; so<3779> will the coming<3952> of the Son<5207> of Man<444> be.
40"Then<5119> there will be two<1417> men<1417> in the field<68>; one<1520> will be taken<3880> and one<1520> will be left<863>.
41"Two<1417> women will be grinding<229> at the mill<3458>; one<1520> will be taken<3880> and one<1520> will be left<863>.
42"Therefore<3767> be on the alert<1127>, for you do not know<3609> which<4169> day<2250> your Lord<2962> is coming<2064>.
43"But be sure<1097> of this<1565>, that if<1487> the head<3617> of the house<3617> had known<3609> at what<4169> time<5438> of the night<5438> the thief<2812> was coming<2064>, he would have been on the alert<1127> and would not have allowed<1439> his house<3614> to be broken<1358> into.
44"For this<3778> reason<1223> you also<2532> must be ready<2092>; for the Son<5207> of Man<444> is coming<2064> at an hour<5610> when<3739> you do not think<1380> He will.
45"Who<5101> then<686> is the faithful<4103> and sensible<5429> slave<1401> whom<3739> his master<2962> put<2525> in charge<2525> of his household<3610> to give<1325> them their food<5160> at the proper<2540> time<2540>?
46"Blessed<3107> is that slave<1401> whom<3739> his master<2962> finds<2147> so<3779> doing<4160> when he comes<2064>.
47"Truly<281> I say<3004> to you that he will put<2525> him in charge<2525> of all<3956> his possessions<5225>.
48''But if<1437> that evil<2556> slave<1401> says<3004> in his heart<2588>, 'My master<2962> is not coming<5549> for a long<5549> time<5549>,'
49and begins<757> to beat<5180> his fellow<4889> slaves<4889> and eat<2068> and drink<4095> with drunkards<3184>;
50the master<2962> of that slave<1401> will come<2240> on a day<2250> when<3739> he does not expect<4328> him and at an hour<5610> which<3739> he does not know<1097>,
51and will cut<1371> him in pieces<1371> and assign<5087> him a place<3313> with the hypocrites<5273>; in that place<3313> there<1563> will be weeping<2805> and gnashing<1030> of teeth<3599>.
